A development of an architecturally sensitive site adjacent to the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, to incorporate a 60,000ftsq office building with underground car parking and a five storey 202 bedroom Jurys Inn hotel. Detailed consultation was necessary with the local authority and constant reference to the Tyne Gorge study to achieve planning approval in April 2009.
