The project brief was to fit out an empty retail unit at the Gateshead Metrocentre and create a buffet style Chinese restaurant for Jetsun Ltd.
The area offered a chance to explore the spatial interface between a public concourse and dining areas, backed up by a state-of-the art kitchen to service a steady flow of customers.
