Developed by Gentoo, Ropery Court is a gated community that has 42 apartments, of which 39 apartments are two-bedroom residential units, remaining three are one-bedroom units. Each housing unit features modern fitted kitchens, stylish fixtures and fittings and individual storage space.
The living room features full length French doors. The gated community also features parking garage and landscaped communal areas. The landscape is in sync with the ironmongery and external timber feature doors. The project received £2.5 million grant from the HCA, under the scope of its Kickstart programme and National Affordable Housing Programme.
Civic Society Award 2012 noted:
“The design addresses the steeply sloping site very well. The development incorporates a range of materials and provides a pleasant living environment. The re-creation and enhancement of Stonewell Lane is a particularly strong feature.”
