High Dependency Unit, Darlington Memorial Hospital

The project involved the refurbishment of an existing Day Surgery accommodation to provide a temporary High Dependency Unit. With the addition of 6 new beds the unit can help provide the necessary care until the new unit opened the following year.

Staff and patients moved into the new unit in July 2009.
