The South Tyneside Trust appointed the practice to upgrade and expand their maternity facilities incuding an upgrade of the exterior façade.
Refurbishment of the existing Maternity department to provide a ‘homely’ and non-clinical delivery suite. The project brief was to remove the existing external fabric and upgrade as part of a phased overhaul of the complete building. A new external entrance and canopy was also designed and constructed.
The practice has a vast amount of experience in maternity design and technical advice on the latest design guides over the last 10 years.
All designs follow the latest guidance for consultant led and midwifery led units.
