A stand-alone new building on the edge of the hospital site.
The design responds to the urban fabric and tackles problems associated with the proximity of railway lines and the inner-city. The building is dedicated to treating eye disorders. The three operating theatres provide capacity for both the incorporated inpatient ward and the Day Case Surgery.
The three-storey building has an atrium in the centre to provide natural light to the waiting and recovery Areas.
