The design has been established from both the user internal needs and the physical context in which the project is to be realised.
The needs of the user group and the internal environment was designed to offer both a fully functional place of work and a healing place within which to speed recovery and recieve medical advice and attention.
Each ‘sub’ department was separated to improve the patients privacy and dignity and each clinic suite provides the following key principles:
– patient waiting time and unnecessary queuing in large numbers can be minimised
– patients can recieve better individual attention
– reduced ‘grouping’ allowing for more relaxed waiting
