This contemporary residential development, part of a larger commercial masterplan in the centre of Newcastle, comprises ten storeys of two bedroom apartments with penthouses on the top floor giving spectacular views across the city and towards the River Tyne from the rooftop terraces. There is a two storey retail element at ground floor level. Each apartment has it’s own timber and steel balcony with extensive floor to ceiling glazing and large projecting bay windows to maximise the feeling of space & light. There are 143 apartments in total, with fifteen per floor, served by three separate staircases, leading down to a basement car park of 52 spaces. The building is of steel framed construction, clad in facing brickwork, Portland stone and vibrant purple render to compliment and pay reference to the adjacent Centre for Life.
